A Rubina Verde Art Glass Basket. This is a very early piece of the exquisite work of Rubina Verde Art Glass. It dates back to 1890, and has a rough edged pontil mark to prove it.
Rubina Verde Art Glass was first made by Hobbs Brockner in Wheeling, W. Virginia in 1890. An exquisite art glass piece that is so definitely Victorian in quality and style. Of course, it is red with hand-painted flowers and a green handle in the Rubina Verde tradition.
It has a rough edged pontil mark on the bottom to prove its era of production. The size is 5 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ H.
