Description
This Royal Kendal Bone China piece is topped with pansies made by Hudson & Middleton Ltd. There is mystery about the mark on the company’s items. Some have the name spelled Kendall. While others use the Kendal spelling, which was the proper name of the line.
The Hudson & Middleton Ltd were well-respected makers of tea cups. saucers, and tableware from 1941 until 1975. This delicate beauty measures 3″ x 1 1/3″ and is quite heavy for its size.
It does look like there was another petal or something on the base in one spot, and has been glued together. But it is very delicate and beautiful, again, what can I say?
