Description
This is a Kroger Grocery Wagon with Horses. This horse-drawn wagon is a replica of the ones used by Kroger in the days where horses were king.
This particular Kroger Grocery Wagon, model no. 7600, comes from Montgomery, Ill. It has some scuff marks on the wagon and the paper sticker shows some wear. The horses look like new, never ridden by any plastic people toys. The advertising paper sign is on both sides of the wagon and reads “The Kroger Grocery & Baking Co.”
The Kroger Company began way back in 1883 when Barney Kroger invested $372 to open a single store in Cincinnati, OH. They are still the nation’s largest grocer with 2,800 stores in 35 states.
