Ms. Righter has thorough information on the beginning of the state of Iowa. One of the city’s commercial businessmen, Mr. Leighton is the person responsible for getting Iowa City Glass Company off the ground. Unfortunately, the glass factory is only a 15 month story.
This small hardback book includes 20 pages of black & white photo plates. The plates show some of the best designs of the company. This reference book from 1966 is now out of print and hard to find in good condition.
