Description
This Fenton Iridescent Jack in the Pulpit Vase is a tall 9 3/4″ tall and 5″ across at widest point. The vase looks like it was never put on display since the original stickers are still on the inside.
The art glass is a white iridescent that reflects multiple colors. The vase is painted at the bottom front with a pink heart, pink roses on blue ribbon. The back has a much smaller version but same colors. The artist is J. Henderson.
There are a few of this type of vase out there but all are different sizes and have different hand paintings from each different artist. This one is one of the larger ones with wide width and a good height for a bouquet of flowers.
The Fenton company opened in 1905, when they launched their own glassware factory with iridescent ware. The Williamstown, West Virginia, company employed more than 100 workers for years until closing in 2011.
