Description
An Early Fenton Marigold Bowl from the earliest days of Fenton. This Grapes & Leaves Bowl is in the Marigold Carnival Glass category. It has a leaf on bottom, produced early between 1910-1918 which you can tell by the small imperfections that Fenton would later eliminate.
This piece is in very good condition; see close-up photos for those early days imperfections.
Its size is 9″D x 2″H.
The Fenton company opened in 1905, when they launched their own glassware factory with iridescent ware. The Williamstown, West Virginia, company employed more than 100 workers for years until closing in 2011.
