Description
Fenton American Bicentennial Blue Tankard is blue/amethyst carnival glass at its best. Obviously from 1976, it commemorates America’s first 200 years. A beautiful cobalt blue art glass with depictions of colonial symbols like the Liberty Bell all around the glass. It measures 7″ T with a 4 1/2″ base and a top diameter of 3 1/2″.
The base reads “1776 American Bicentennial 1976. I also also the etched oval Fenton mark just to be sure we know who produced it. If you don’t know much about Fenton Art Glass, please look up Fenton to see a marvelous group of art glass starting from 1909 through 2012.
