Description
Famous Maker Bone China Collection includes the following:
- A Trinket Box from Aynsley whose bone china became the most popular and well-liked by the royals. The company was purchased by Waterford in 1970; then Belleck and closed in 2014.The size of the box is 2 1/4″ x 2 1/2″. It has a tiny chip on edge of box, and even smaller one on a flower petal. See photos. It is priced accordingly.
- A Royale Stratford Bone China Paperweight is in very good condition, considering its age and purpose. It does have some very tiny imperfections. Plus the base looks to have been re-glued to the flowers area. There is one small line on the underside of the dark pink flower but may be a production flaw. See photos for details. It is heavier than the other pieces and a bit larger at 4 1/2″ x 3″. If perfect, it would be priced much higher. It is so beautiful as it is because the imperfections aren’t noticeable unless one looks very closely.
- A Royale Kendal Bone China piece with pansies is made by Hudson & Middleton Ltd. There is mystery about the mark on the company’s items. Some have the name spelled Kendall. While others use the Kendal spelling, which was the proper name of the line. This delicate beauty measures 3″ x 1 1/3″ and is quite heavy for its size. The Hudson & Middleton Ltd were well-respected makers of tea cups. saucers, and tableware from 1941 until 1975.It does look like there was another petal or something on the base in one spot, and has been glued together. But it is very delicate and beautiful, again, what can I say?If you are a collector, you know how fragile these are and this one looks good! See photo for detailed pictures, priced accordingly.
- Kew Gardens of England small bone china piece. This one is a real beauty made on a light pink base with very delicate flowers of different colors and shapes.
- Staffordshire English Bone China Pin. A beautiful tiny represetation of Staffordshire porcelain! They have been in business since 1801.
