This Daniel Boone Children’s Book is a nice edition of Daniel Boone Taming The Wilds. The book, copyright 1960, by the famed children’s author and native Kentuckian, Katharine Wilke. She was a schoolteacher and admirer of fellow Kentuckian, Daniel Boone.
Boone’s life was one of courage and determination which is beautifully told in this famous Daniel Boone story book.
This book was a library copy printed by Discovery Book at Harvard University. It has normal age related wear, a few spots and worn hardcover edges but there are no marks or torn papers expect the blank back page has a torn corner. The book measures approximately 8″ x 6″ in size.
