Description
A Black Victorinox Pocket Knife in excellent condition. Its size is only about 3 inches long. It comes in a little velvet case.
Victorinox has a history of knife making dating back to 1884 when Karl Elsener opened knife cutler’s workshop. By 1897, he patented the soldier’s knives he made for the Swiss Army. You guessed it, the widely known “Swiss Army Knife” was his invention.
This particular small pocket knife bears the Victorinox name for Mr. Elsener’s mother, Victoria, who strongly supported his work , and for the invention of stainless steel (Inox) that were combined to form the name Victorinox, the globally known brand name today.
