Description
A fabulous Antique Shakespearian Ceramic Lamp is very unusual and quite rare. It is a 19th century work of art that is hand-painted and signed H. M. Pagai. The hand-painted picture represents the Shakespearian character Falstaf. Both the Falstaf name and the painter’s name appear below a scene from the play.
This is a beautiful lamp made with precise metal work on ceramic with hand-painting of the greatest quality. Great for artistic lovers of rare lamps who can appreciate the depiction by H M Pagai of a famous play scene from a Shakespeare tragedy.
The lamp measures a nice 19″ including the clip-on shade. The lamp stem is 12′ tall with a base measuring a solid 4 inch diameter for stability.
